Clear Diesel (Ultra-Low Sulfur)
Highway-grade ULSD for licensed on-road equipment — fleets, freight trucks, and any diesel vehicle operating on public roads. Meets all current Canadian sulfur and emissions specifications.
Dyed Diesel (Off-Road)
Marked diesel for off-road and stationary use — farms, construction equipment, generators, heating, and ag operations. Same fuel chemistry as clear; the dye signals the tax-exempt classification under Alberta TRA rules.
Clear Gasoline (Regular & Mid-Grade)

Clear Diesel vs Dyed Diesel — Which Do You Need?
Both grades are the same ultra-low-sulfur diesel formulation. The dye is a marker required by the Alberta Tax and Revenue Administration to distinguish fuel that has had federal and provincial road taxes removed. Clear (undyed) diesel is for licensed on-road vehicles. Dyed diesel is for off-road equipment that doesn't use public highways.
- Clear diesel: highway trucks, fleet vehicles, retail station tanks, anything operating on public roads.
- Dyed diesel: tractors, combines, sprayers, generators, off-road construction equipment, heating fuel, marine, mining equipment.
- Mixed fleets: most farms and construction sites need both. We can deliver to separate tanks on the same site, on the same trip.
- Penalty risk: using dyed diesel in an on-road vehicle is a CRA offence with significant fines — keep your tanks clearly marked.

Fuel Storage and Pumps Sourced Together
Fuel delivery is one part of a fuel program. We also rent and sell on-site storage tanks — single-walled, double-walled, Fireguard fire-rated, DEF tanks, aviation tanks — and supply RAASM transfer pumps, hose reels, dispensers, and fluid handling equipment to go with them. Sourcing tanks, pumps, and fuel from one supplier means one accountable phone call when something needs attention.
For fleet customers, we also install card-lock access and tank-monitoring telemetry so you can see usage by vehicle, driver, or cost centre and reconcile month-end without a stack of paper tickets.

- What areas of Alberta does Power Fuelz deliver to?
- We deliver across Alberta from our Taber base. Our regular routes cover Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Okotoks, Airdrie, Camrose, and surrounding rural communities. For larger accounts in other parts of the province, we set up new routes regularly — call us to discuss.
- What is the minimum order for bulk fuel delivery?
- Minimums depend on the delivery location and product, but most rural and jobsite deliveries start at around 1,000 litres. For urban customers and recurring programs, the threshold is usually lower. Call dispatch and we will work out the right setup for your operation.
- How quickly can you deliver fuel in an emergency?
- Our dispatch is staffed 24/7 with real humans — not a call centre. Emergency deliveries are typically dispatched within minutes of your call. Drive time depends on where you are in the province, but we cover most of Southern and Central Alberta within 2–4 hours.
- Do you supply both clear (highway) and dyed (off-road) diesel?
- Yes — both are ultra-low-sulfur diesel and we deliver both regularly. Clear is for highway-licensed vehicles; dyed is for off-road equipment, generators, heating, and ag use. We can deliver both products on the same trip to separate tanks on the same site.
- How does Power Fuelz pricing work?
- We're an independent distributor, so pricing is direct and tied to wholesale market rates. We pass through fluctuations transparently rather than holding artificial spread. For volume customers we offer scheduled-delivery and lock-in pricing programs — request a quote with your usage profile and we'll spec the right structure.
- Can you handle fuel delivery for retail gas stations?
- Yes — we wholesale gasoline and diesel to independent retail fuel stations across Alberta. Our retail program includes scheduled supply, margin protection structures designed for independents, equipment support for pumps and dispensers, and signage/branding support if you need it.
- Do you deliver aviation fuel?
- Yes. We supply Phillips 66 branded Avgas and Jet A to airports, FBOs, ag aviation operators, and private airfields across Alberta, with aviation-certified storage tanks and dispensing equipment available alongside.
- Do I need to provide my own storage tank?
- Not necessarily — we sell and rent on-site storage tanks of every common configuration (single-wall, double-wall, Fireguard, DEF, aviation, waste oil) from 1,000 to 100,000 litres. If you don't have a tank, we'll spec, install, and maintain the right one for your operation.
- Can I track fuel usage across multiple vehicles or projects?
- Yes. We offer card-lock access (with PIN and vehicle binding), tank-level monitoring, and per-vehicle/driver/project usage reporting that exports to most accounting and fleet management tools. Especially useful for construction, transportation, and multi-site operators.
- What brands do you stock?
- Our primary fuel and lubricant supplier is Phillips 66, including Phillips 66 Aviation for Avgas and Jet A. We also stock RAASM equipment for pumps and fluid handling. We can source specialty products from other brands on request.
